Security & Account Access Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

The short version: DIY Parcel Negotiations never logs into your carrier account, never asks for your carrier credentials, and never stores them. You export your own invoice data and upload it to us. We use it for your negotiation package and nothing else.

What We Never Do

DIY Parcel Negotiations ("DIYPN," "we," "us," or "our") does not access your UPS or FedEx account at any point in your engagement. We do not request your carrier login, we do not store carrier credentials, and we do not use invite-only or delegated access to your carrier systems. There is no step in our process where DIYPN touches your carrier account.

How Your Data Reaches Us

You export your own invoice data as a CSV file from your carrier's billing portal, following the step-by-step instructions we provide. You then upload that file through our secure intake form. The export is performed by you, on your own login, and you control exactly which accounts and date ranges are included.

Where Your Data Lives

Uploaded files are stored in a private DIYPN Google Drive folder created for your engagement only. Access to customer files is limited to the two founders of DIYPN. If that changes as we grow, this policy will be updated before any additional person is granted access.

What We Do With Your Data

Your data is used solely to build your negotiation package and to support you through your negotiation. It is not used for any other purpose. This use is governed by the Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement you acknowledge at intake, which protects your confidential shipping data and our proprietary methods alike.

What Goes Into Our Customer Records

Our customer relationship system holds your contact and company details, your carrier, and your spend tier. It never holds your uploaded files, your invoice data, or your signed NDA and consent forms. Those stay in the private engagement folder described above.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. DIYPN never sees, receives, or stores your card number. Your payment details are handled entirely within Stripe's PCI-compliant environment.

Your Guidance Is Yours Alone

The support you receive during your negotiation, including from NASH, our negotiation guidance assistant, is grounded in your own results. Your data is never pooled with, compared to, or used to inform another customer's engagement.

How Long We Keep It

Uploaded files are retained for a minimum of 90 days from delivery of your negotiation package, so we can support you through your negotiation and any follow-up rounds. If you are a recurring reporting customer, files are retained for the duration of that reporting relationship. Personal contact information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Own Safeguards

Our administrative systems are protected with two-factor authentication. Our analysis methods and rate benchmarks never leave DIYPN as a file; the only document that leaves is the carrier-facing request we build for you.

Security FAQs

Do you need access to my UPS or FedEx account?

No. We never log into your carrier account and never ask for your login. You pull your own invoice export and upload it to us.

Do you ever store carrier login credentials?

No. There is no step in our process that requires them, so we never collect them and have nothing to store.

Who can access my uploaded data?

The two founders of DIYPN. Files live in a private folder created for your engagement only. This policy will be updated before anyone else is granted access.

Can I have my files deleted?

Yes. Contact us at info@DIYParcelNegotiations.com and we will confirm deletion of your uploaded files, subject to any active reporting relationship you have with us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are effective when posted on this page.
